The great thing about catching prey is...

You get to play with your food!

Nothing went to waste. Starting with the pointy little nose Nicky methodically consumed the hapless prey down to the tip of the hairless tail. One thing I didn't fully appreciate about eating little mouseys was the fact that they really are full of bones. While those sharp incisor teeth made short order of the tiny rodent it was not a silent meal. If I closed my eyes I could have sworn that the cat had been eating a carrot.
